I was told a story by my lovely fiance the other day regarding a comment made by a person that works at the same company she does. This guy apparantely made mention of how Pittsburgh's citizen's are such shitty inconsiderate assholes. And tonight, on national TV, they prove it. Pittsburgh had scored their 3rd goal of the game tonight and instead of being humble but happy, there was this one guy who was seen right behind Carolina's Head Coach Paul Maurice giving him the bird. I mean, not just a funny limp finger, it was an angry in yo face finger. And yes, if someone from Pittsburgh reads this, I know what you'll say, not all you bastards are angry pricks, although I'd bet a dollar that you are.
Yesterday I played my first hockey game. Although I had a knee injury my third shift out I had a good time. We lost to the other team, who really was a strong presence on the ice, they had good speed and probably should have been in a higher league, but ya know, it was fun. The classiest of all things last night was the fact that we had pulled the goalie at the end of the 3rd for the extra skater but our D was weak. So they had a break away at the end and instead of firing on the open net, the skater just held the puck until the horn. Very classy indeed. Hat's off to that kind of play.
And so Roy supposedly hasn't received the offer letter from the Avs. Well, the B's and Q's are suggesting that he in fact has received it and has also accepted. But is publicly denying it because, and we speculate, that Granato has not received his walking papers yet. And to avoid any uncomfortable issues with the team and staff, he won't confirm until Granato gets the foot to ass. Time will tell.
