I've been anxiously awaiting to see Chris Cornell on Letterman. His Twitter's have been littering my Tweetdeck for days with the fact that he played the show but never said when it would air. Well, tonight was the night.
The performance didn't meet expectations but it's like eating your favorite food, it's always good no matter how bad it is. Cornell did as good a job as to be expected. His voice was cooked but he warned everyone about that on Monday a la twitter.
At the end of the show, Letterman's "ouch, that hurt" whining about hitting his hand on the Cornell's guitar was weak. Cornell took the blame on hitting Letterman but it was the exact opposite. Letterman, watch where the hell you put your hand would ya?
Ok, well, I'll be hitting the sack now. Brain is fried and I'm tired of typing. I mean to say that the noggin' is wiped out, not that I'm having fried grey matter.
